To say this has been a lost season for Kobe Bryant would be an understatement. The Los Angeles Lakers star missed the first 19 games of the star-crossed campaign while still recovering from a torn Achilles that occurred at the end of last season. Then, he suffered a fracture in his left knee that still has him sidelined. So when the short-handed Lakers took on a Dwyane Wade-less Miami Heat squad Thursday, Bryant was forced to watch from the L.A. bench. And judging by the Black Mamba's reaction after a particular moment in the fourth quarter, he wasn't too pleased:
The SMH move said it all for Bryant and was pretty much a microcosm of a season that is heading south in a hurry. Following the 109-102 Heat victory, the Lakers have lost 14 of their last 17. And Bryant is seeking a replacement at the upcoming All-Star Game as well.
Everyone is curious to see what the weather will be like for Super Bowl XLVIII in New Jersey. But Mr. Met took advantage of the wintery conditions by making multiple snow angels in the Citi Field outfield earlier this week. Judging by his precision, the mascot has many talents.
