Kobe Bryant picks Iggy Azalea over Nick Young in media day questionnaire

At least Kobe Bryant is honest when it comes to answering questions about the status of his teammates compared to their girlfriends. We know this because when the Los Angeles Lakers star was asked "Iggy Azalea or Swaggy P" during a questionnaire conducted at the team's media day Monday, The Black Mamba didn't hesitate with a reasoned reply.

"Iggy," Bryant answered after a hearty laugh. "She's been more successful in her career so far."

Nevermind the fact that Nick "Swaggy P" Young averaged a team-high 17.9 points per game last year for the injury-ravaged Lakers (which helped him earn a four-year/$21.5 million deal in the offseason). Young is Bryant's teammate! Clearly, Kobe is going with the chalk here. Azalea, who has been in a relationship with Young for roughly one year, is quickly establishing herself in the recording industry. Earlier this year, the 24-year-old Australian joined The Beatles and Ashanti as the only acts to have their first two Billboard Hot 100 hits reach No. 1 and No. 2 simultaneously. Her single "Fancy" held the top spot for seven straight weeks and was named the Billboard's Song of the Summer for 2014. But Swaggy was a two-time All-Pac 10 First Team player during his days at USC. So he has that goin' for him … which is nice.
