Kevin Harlan delighted by Chris “Birdman” Andersen

One is an enthusiastic play-by-play man. The other is a colorful professional basketball player. But when Chris "Birdman" Andersen converted a putback dunk near the end of the third quarter of Sunday's Bucks-Heat game, Kevin Harlan's take of the moment was pure joy.

Following a Shane Battier missed 3-point attempt, Andersen swooped in for the finish. Here's how Harlan, who is in his 18th season of calling NBA playoff games for Turner Sports, described what came next:

"Oh here comes the Birdman! Flapping his wings and soaring for a sweet flush. When you're aerodynamically designed with that hairdo, you can do those kinds of things, with that sweet mohawk. It helps him fly!"

Broadcast partner Reggie Miller chuckled at the description as Harlan gathered himself following the play. Andersen finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds in 16 minutes of action in Miami's 110-87 victory over Milwaukee in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series. LeBron James finished with a game-high 27 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists in the win.

Moving to football, Darrelle Revis is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. The New York Jets traded the cornerback to the Bucs for Tampa Bay's 13th overall pick in this week's NFL draft and a conditional selection in 2014.

And the London Marathon proceeded safely as runners honored the memory of those lost and injured in Boston last week.
