Iowa State basketball player Tyrus McGee ranks second nationally in shooting percentage from beyond the arc, making him a three point specialist. And what he did in practice recently, was definitely special.
McGee was caught on video by Randy Peterson of the Des Moines Register making 16 straight shots from long range. The sixth man of the year in the Big 12, who averages a league-leading 2.8 treys per game, finally walked off the court without attempting a 17th shot, leaving us all to wonder how many more he could have poured in!
Dwight Howard received a not-so-warm welcome in his return to Orlando, with things like a billboard counting down the minutes until he leaves the state again, and of course showers of boos when he was announced during pre-game. But Dwight got the last laugh, scoring 39 big points, grabbing 16 boards and blocking three shots in the Lakers' 106-97 victory over the Magic.
