Class of 2015 defensive line recruit Darian Roseboro decommits from Michigan

The first blue chip is off the table. Class of 2015 Rivals four-star defensive line recruit Darian Roseboro has decommitted from Michigan following a rough few days for the Wolverines. First, the Maize and Blue were defeated 30-14 by Minnesota Saturday, marking the first time in the storied program's 135-year history it has amassed three losses by the end of September. Then, embattled head coach Brady Hoke issued a statement regarding the handling of quarterback Shane Morris, who was allowed to stay in the game after taking a hard hit and clearly being woozy. Monday, Hoke continued to defend his position.

Robinson hasn't said if any of these factors contributed to his decision, which he made public on Twitter Monday evening.

The 6-foot-4, 283-pound prospect from Lincolnton, N.C. is the No. 6 player at his position and the No. 42-ranked player overall in his class. UM has reportedly recruited him as a defensive end. It appears Roseboro may be leaning towards staying close to home. He visited NC State Saturday during the Wolfpack's near-upset of defending national champion Florida State.

And even got a shout-out from a former American Idol winner to end up in Raleigh.

Roseboro has received over 30 scholarship offers, including ones from college football powers like Alabama, Auburn, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Texas.
