Chris Paul’s ridiculous shoe collection

Remember Imelda Marcos’ epic shoe collection? Well, Clippers star Chris Paul is giving the former Philippine first lady a run for her money.

CP3’s wife Jada posted a photo to Instagram recently that shows just how shoe-obsessed the six-time All-Star is. Along with the message, "This is only a portion of the shoes in CP3’s room. We turned an entire bedroom into what we call the 'museum'", Jada Paul outed her husband as quite the sneaker head. By our count, there’s well over a hundred pairs of kicks in the shot. Of course, as one of Nike’s main spokesman for the Jordan brand, the reigning NBA All-Star Game MVP gets a lot of product for free. Even so, that’s quite a collection.

How did the floor general for Lob City fare Tuesday night? A game-time decision, Paul finished with a team-high 33 points against Dallas. But Dirk Nowitzki matched CP3’s output with 33 of his own, a season-high, as the Mavericks beat the Clippers 109-102 in overtime.

Moving to World Cup qualifying, the U.S. men’s national team earned a point against Mexico thanks to a scoreless draw. It’s only the second time ever the Americans have come away from Estadio Azteca with a point.

Finally, Denny Hamlin is expected to miss at least six weeks – and five races – with a compression fracture in his lower back after wrecking on the final lap of the Sprint Cup race at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday.
