Banner run-through fail strikes junior varsity softball team

High school can be an awkward time for many. And even though this group of junior varsity softball players turned in one of the most epic banner run-through fails of all-time, the anonymous team managed to come out on the other side of it (literally) with smiles on their faces. Efforts were made by Yahoo Sports to identify our new heroines — but were unsuccessful. And maybe it's better that way.

Wedgie!

We continue our look back at some of the best bloopers of the week with a microcosm of the Indiana Pacers' recent struggles. Lance Stephenson's "wedgie" dunk during Game 5 of the team's first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks was one of the all-time gaffes.

Caddie sacked

Finally in golf, yes that was Chesson Hadley's caddie accidentally bending the 26-year-old's putter after tripping over a gallery rope walking off the ninth green during Thursday's first round of the Wells Fargo Championship. Josh Svendsen was OK after the spill — but the club was not. It turned out alright though as Hadley birdied the tenth hole with the damaged equipment.
