Week 5 Funny Money: Head for Hillman in DFS

The Big Noise took to the soap box first, stumping for Broncos back Ronnie Hillman, who Evans expects to lead his team in touches (in the neighborhood of 15-17) in a favorable matchup against Oakland. Evans expects a large portion of the DFS community to chase the lowly $10 price tag this week on breakout rookie Todd Gurley, and sees Hillman ($14 in Yahoo DFS) as a cheap, viable option for those that are looking to fade away from all the dollars being spent on the Rams back.

Funston is targeting the Washington tight end position this week, where Derek Carrier ($10) is expected to step in for the injured Jordan Reed (concussion). As Funston notes, Washington QB Kirk Cousins has leaned heavily on his tight end, as the Redskins ranked fifth in TE receptions in '14, and currently sit at No. 2 in that category this season. Funston loves the upside potential of Carrier, who has tantalizing size and athleticism, especially at his bargain basement price.
