Should fantasy owners consider LeGarrette Blount for the playoffs?

Oh, to be LeGarrette Blount! It’s not often you can take a swing at a co-worker or bail on your team and coach because you disagree, and still have any sort of impact on the field. But Blount has done just that. After being cut from the Steelers last week, LeGarrette Blount heads to the Patriots and then goes off for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Sure, the benching of Jonas Gray helped out, but it’s not often things work out like that for NFL players, and it definitely didn’t work out for fantasy owners

But really, the question is can we trust Blount in our fantasy stretch drives? It’s hard to say, but he’s definitely worth a pickup with a wait-and-see approach. In the wacky world of Bill Belichick, however, you never know how the game plan will affect the fantasy output.

If Blount is available in your league, I say grab him. If Gray misses any more team meetings, you might have a fantasy star ready to roll for your playoffs.
