To the SHIP! It's Week 16 of the NFL season, which means one thing and one thing only, title time. With bragging rights on the line, here are three unsung QBs primed to score you a trophy:
Andy Dalton, Cin – Largely bland in most owners' eyes, Cincy's redheaded stepchild has actually performed better than you think. Over his past nine games, he's thrown for multiple scores seven times. Matched against a Vikings secondary that's surrendered the second-most fantasy points to signal callers, his odds of netting at least 260 yards and 2-3 touchdowns are quite favorable.
Jay Cutler, Chi – Welcome back to the adult table, Jay. Tallying a top-10 line last week in Cleveland, doubts about the passer quickly evaporated. Though he threw a couple picks, he completed 71-percent of his looks, nailing the Browns on a fair number of explosive pass plays. This week gifted an ultra-friendly matchup against an Eagles secondary that's given up the fourth-most fantasy points to QBs, he is a strong favorite to not only finish top-10, but possibly top-three this week.
Kirk Cousins, Was – The four-percent of Yahoo users who rolled the dice on Cousins last week cashed in. In Atlanta, the lottery ticket totaled 381 yards and three touchdowns. Versus an even softer defense, Dallas, he could replicate Week 15's success. Little D has surrendered the most fantasy points to QBs on the year, yielding 312.5 passing yards and 2.1 passing touchdowns per game. Stare risk in the face.
