Don’t sleep on these fantasy monsters for championship week

If you're angling for a champagne shower, it's smart to weigh each and every alternative. In a single elimination scenario, matchups need to be maximized. Before you submit your championship lineup, here are three under-started sleepers who could score you a ticket to Titletown:

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ten, QB – A dead-ringer for Yukon Cornelius, the Tennessee passer could strike fantasy GOLD! in Week 16. Overlooked by most, Fitzpatrick has tallied a top-six line since Week 10, averaging 21.3 fantasy points per game in standard Yahoo leagues. Facing a Jags secondary that's surrendered the third-most fantasy points to passers on the year, the dual-threat has a great shot at another 300 combined yards with 2-3 touchdowns.

Dennis Johnson, Hou, RB – If there's another Matt Asiasta in our midst, it has to be Houston's Mighty Mouse. The 5-foot-7, 195-pound product from Arkansas is a finely skilled back expected to shoulder a hefty workload with Ben Tate sidelined. Against a Denver front that's surrendered 4.43 yards per carry, 145.3 total yards per game and nine touchdowns to plowshares since Week 11, he's a strong candidate for 80-plus yards and a possible touchdown, even if Houston plays the entire day from behind.

Marvin Jones, Cin, WR – After hanging four touchdowns on the Jets Week 8, Jones was immediately snatched up by owners, then dropped en masse a couple weeks later. Once again seeing the majority of snaps and off back-to-back games with a TD, he's worth employing at WR3 in your championship game. Marvin's opponent, Minnesota, has yielded the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers on the year. With Cincy's back against the wall, count on the offense, including Jones, to elevate its game.
