Brooklyn Decker talks fantasy football – and her favorite quarterback

Brooklyn Decker is a huge sports fan, and not just because she’s married to former tennis player Andy Roddick. The love affair started well before that.
 
Decker was born in Ohio, but moved to North Carolina as a child with her family. The Tar Heel State roots explain her support for the Carolina Panthers – and why one of her fondest sports memories is the team’s trip to Super Bowl XXXVIII.
 
Her love for the Panthers carries over to fantasy football – at least, in her words, for the “first couple of weeks, and after that I sort of fall off.” (Just like all of us.)
 
Decker did, however, put together a successful 2013 fantasy campaign – beating out two top comedians for the title, as she explains in this video:

The 27-year-old won’t be playing fantasy football this year – so don’t bother sending her an invite – but she did offer an evaluation of her favorite quarterback, Panthers signal caller Cam Newton:

No doubt Decker will be watching the Panthers take on the Buccaneers in their season opener on Sunday.
