New Kid on the Block Jonathan Knight Takes on 'The Amazing Race'
And they're off! The latest edition of CBS's reality show staple, The Amazing Race, kicks off Feb. 25 with a special 90-minute premiere that sends 11 new teams of two on a turbo-charged globetrotting adventure. Leading the pack is Jonathan Knight, the latest member of New Kids on the Block to find a new home on reality television. (His fellow bandmate, Donnie Wahlberg, is a regular staple on A&E with Wahlburgers and Donnie Loves Jenny.) Helping him prove that he’s got the… ahem, right stuff to cross the finish line first will be Knight's boyfriend, fitness trainer Harley Rodriguez, who has revealed that Jonathan's penchant for complaining has a tendency to annoy him. And since complaining is a competitive sport on TAR, we imagine he'll be complaining a lot.

Jonathan and Harley are part of this new season's twist: The entire cast is made up of dating couples, some long-term and others very, very new. For the first time, five of the teams will be introduced to each other on the starting mat on a "blind date" arrangement. These shotgun duos include professional dancer Jackie and sales executive Jeffrey, human resources project manager Bergen and pageant consultant Kurt, and nurse Hayley and Navy physician Blair. Showing them what a committed relationship looks like are hairstylists Matt and Ashley and pilot Jeff and flight attendant Lyda. We look forward to seeing which of the teams will be able to hang tough alongside Jonathan and Harley.
