'Dancing With the Stars' Finals: Who's Not Getting a Mirrorball? Plus, We Rank the Final 4's Freestyles

SPOILER ALERT: This recap reveals the elimination results of Week 11 of Dancing With the Stars.

It's finale week on Dancing With the Stars, and that means anything goes — especially when it comes to the all-important freestyle dances. But for one couple, Monday night's show meant it was time to go. Less than 24 hours before the 19th mirrorball champion is slated to be crowned, Bethany Mota and Derek Hough were eliminated from the celebrity ballroom competition.

With one of the strongest final fours in recent DWTS history, any elimination would have been a surprise on Monday night, but it was especially shocking to see five-time DWTS champ Hough and his celeb partner eliminated before finale night. "I've discovered things about myself that I never thought I could do," Mota said of her time on the show. "I never thought I'd make it this far in the competition; I was just happy to make it past week two."

Hough expressed gratitude for being part of the long running ABC ballroom competition, and for being partnered with Mota. "I'm just proud to be part of a show that celebrates a very difficult artistic athletic art form like dance," he said. "It's the biggest dance show on the planet and I'm proud to be a part of it, and I'm proud of this young lady. She's an amazing role model and I am so proud."

Monday night's show also featured judges' pick dances and the make-it-or-break-it freestyle dances. So, who got stripped down? And who's the newest freestyle hall of famer? Check out how we ranked this season's perfect-scoring freestyles.

4. Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy — Stripped-Down Dance

Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish was in serious pain after her samba with Val Chmerkovskiy, due to a rib injury she suffered during rehearsals earlier in the day. She got through the dance (and rocked a huge bandage in the process), but she had to run backstage to ice her rib before her freestyle. The stripped-down, no frills final dance had the couple barefoot, Val shirtless, and it didn't feature any extra dancers. Bruno Tonioli called the dance "hypnotically beautiful," while Carrie Ann Inaba commented that this freestyle was different from the rest. "Yours went inside all of us," she said.

3. Bethany Mota and Derek Hough — Revolution

A set slip-up slightly hurt Mota and Hough's redo of their Week 1 jive, so they had to really shake things up for their freestyle. Hough's fifth trip to the finals (in a row!) had Mota under extra pressure to be perfect, but with extra dancers portraying her fans (aka Motavators), the YouTube superstar proved she's a true leader with a dance that had her front and center to showcase how far she's come in her life. "You're strong, you're powerful," Tonioli said, while Inaba told the fan favorite, "You drew all the energy in and you were the center of that incredible performance."

2. Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson — Tap Dance Kids

It was a perfect score for Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson as they reprised their Week 1 jive, but it was the duo's freestyle that really showed the audience what they've got. After incorporating steps from all of their previous dance routines from this season, the Broadway vet, who got his start as a child dancing in The Tap Dance Kid, performed the first-ever tap solo in Dancing With the Stars history. Ribeiro was also the only celeb to nab perfect scores for both of his dances. "That's how you tap your way to the top!" Tonioli said.

1. Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas — Super Mario Brothers Theme

An encore of Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas's Duck Dynasty themed samba left emotional dad Willie Robertson teary-eyed, but come freestyle time it was time to smile. The adorable duo channeled iconic video game characters Super Mario and Princess Peach for a freestyle that was like nothing we've ever seen on DWTS. (Luigi and Toad made cameos, too.) "I just gave you all of my gold coins!" Julianne Hough gushed after the dance. But Inaba gave the couple the biggest props: "Welcome to the hall of fame," she said. "That was the most memorable freestyle we've seen in ages."

Here's the full list of scores from Week 11 of Dancing With the Stars:

* Bethany Mota and Derek Hough, 36 out of 40 points; 40 out of 40 for freestyle
* Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, 37 out of 40 points, 40 out of 40 for freestyle
* Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas, 38 out of 40 points; 40 out of 40 for freestyle
* Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson, 40 out of 40 points; 40 out of 40 for freestyle

The Dancing With the Stars finale airs on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
