The Colombian rocker Juanes took the stage at the Decade of Difference concert at the Hollywood Bowl on October 15 for a meaningful set. Juanes, a former heavy metal artist, grew up during the bloody reign of Pablo Escobar and was deeply affected by the violence around him. He put that pain and anger into his music and brought that emotion to his humanitarian efforts and his music. Juanes sang from his huge hit album "Mi Sangre" ("My Blood"), which became a powerful collection of songs heard everywhere from Latin America to Europe.
