Caroline Wozniacki was so pleased with the new, signed Liverpool soccer jersey she received as a gift that she warmed up in it before her quarterfinal match at the Qatar Ladies Open.

The world No. 1 has been a long-time fan of Liverpool's soccer team. She had been tweeting about the signed Steven Gerrard shirt for the past few days and wrote earlier on Thursday that she might as well step onto the court with it. She lived up to her word:

On Tuesday, Wozniacki showed off her gift while posing in her Qatar hotel:

Hopefully Wozniacki won't emulate Gerrard too much. The Liverpool captain hasn't played since Feb. 6 because of a hurt adductor muscle.

Wozniacki also made an excellent suggestion about how Liverpool can reciprocate the love:

Make it happen, reds.
