Watch a tennis ball nearly take out a bug at Wimbledon

The invention of the high definition camera in sports has really given us a new perspective on the way sports are played. We see golf swings and football hits and dunks slowed down to snail speeds but the picture is so sharp it's like an art form.

And then you have the above GIF, courtesy of the fine folks over at The Big Lead, of a bug nearly getting crushed by a tennis ball during Manic Monday at Wimbledon.

Laura Robson was playing Kaia Kanepi when the ESPN cameras caught this little critter strolling across the famed grass of Wimbledon as the tennis ball went whizzing by, and it's a pretty incredible scene into the life of a bug. Hey, maybe they should make a movie about that!
