Petra Kvitova picked a good time for her first ace of the Wimbledon final. On her first match point of the championship match, the 21-year-old Czech blasted a serve past Maria Sharapova to seal the surprise victory and take home her first Grand Slam title:
"My father is still crying," Kvitova said after the match. "He always cries when I win."
Her tears didn't come until later, when Czech tennis heroes Martina Navratilova and Jana Novotna congratulated her on the victory.
