Video: Elton John's lob stymies Agassi and Graf at charity match
On Monday night, Andre Agassi, Stefanie (don't call her Steffi) Graf, Billie Jean King, Anna Kournikova, Elton John and Martina Navratilova were in Washington, D.C., for a World Team Tennis Smash Hits charity event to benefit AIDS research.
Here's a great clip from the featured match of the evening, a mixed-doubles event between the husband and wife team of Agassi/Graf and Navratilova/John. Check out the Rocket Man's lob winner:
Great touch by Elton. That point notwithstanding, though, who made those teams? Don't get me wrong, I love "Daniel" and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" as much as anyone, but unless points were awarded for indoor sunglasses wearing, I think Team Martina/Elton was at a decided disadvantage.

Eh, but maybe Stefanie had first choice and picked Andre, and then Martina had to choose between Elton and James Blake. If that was the case, she probably made the right call.
The Smash Hits event raised over $500,000 for charity.
