Roger Federer and an Australian Open ball boy show off their hand-eye coordination
Tennis is not known for assists. It isn't a game like basketball or baseball or even football where teammates can set the other up for success, it is just two people out on an island alone trying to outwork, and outsmart, their opponent.
But occasionally something will happen that does show pretty incredible teamwork, even when it wasn't intended. Roger Federer rolled past Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets to advance to the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, but that wasn't before he pulled off this behind-the-back assist to one of the ball boys in Melbourne.
Federer's reaction was incredible quick, and an absolute bullet to his target but the snag by the ball boy was pretty impressive as well.
Federer will need all the coordination he can get as he prepares for Andy Murray in his next match at the opening Grand Slam of the season.
