To say there was little drama during the U.S. Open women's final would be inaccurate, as it suggests there was any drama at all. The instant Kim Clijsters broke Vera Zvonareva in the sixth game of the match, it became clear that this would be another dull women's Grand Slam final. Thus, for most of the match, the most interesting part was when CBS cameras would show Clijsters' two-year old daughter, Jada, sitting in the stands rooting on her mom.

Jada, who graduated to sitting in a seat of her own this year (last year she was held in a luxury box), didn't seem too interested in her mom's 6-2, 6-1 rout of Zvonareva, she was more focused on playing with watches handed over by family and friends and fidgeting. Good thing the match was only an hour, probably about as long as a two-and-a-half year old can keep her attention on things.

After the match Jada joined her mom on the court and at first was dazzled by the shiny trophy. Then someone handed her a tape measure and, like a toddler on Christmas morning who likes the box better than the gift inside it, Jada was mesmerized.

At one point she sternly told photographers, "no pictures." They didn't listen. Here are some of the cutest shots of mommy and daughter at the U.S. Open:
