J.K. Rowling shuts down latest Serena hater

J.K. Rowling was really excited about Serena Williams' Wimbledon victory. Like millions of others, she tweeted about the win shortly after Williams claimed her 21st Grand Slam title.

When a Twitter troll responded with a demeaning tweet, Rowling wasn't having it.

Williams has dealt with these types of trolls throughout her career, usually brushing off the hatred without even acknowledging them.

Rowling is the latest in a long line of defenders – and surely won't be the last – but for now, at least she shot down one of the trolls. The tweet has been favorited more than 55,000 times and retweeted more than 44,000.
