Game Point is Busted Racquet's roundup of news, stats and links from around the web.

Love -- Bad news for Andy Murray, tennis fans in London and those really hoping he'd be in a grudge-match final with Roger Federer (which may have only been me): The world No. 3 looked gimpy because of his groin injury in a straight-set loss to David Ferrer on Monday and may have to withdraw from the tournament.

15 -- The Guardian's lead on the Murray story had the perfect blend of news and British snark:

If Andy Murray's season really is over, he is not leaving us clutching our sides. Nobody does gloom quite like Murray. Cut down by a gluteal injury in Basel and inconvenienced in defeat on Monday by the flare-up of a groin strain picked up in training after his exit in Paris a week and a half ago, he views his chances of continuing in the ATP World Tour Finals this week with all the Christmas cheer of Ebenezer Scrooge.

30 -- Novak Djokovic wasn't at his best on Monday, but it was enough to defeat Tomas Berdych in a third-set tiebreak to get an opening win in Group B. Berdych sprayed a forehand wide and into the net on a match point at 5-4 in the final set and his nerves also seemed to get the better of him in that tiebreak.

40 -- Daniela Hantuchova is releasing another calendar for charity in 2012. Proceeds support the House of the Smile charity in Cambodia. As a proud owner of the 2011 version, let me say that it's for a good cause. Especially April.

Game -- Photo of the day: Roger Federer collects two trophies -- the ATPWorldTour.com Fans Favorite and Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award -- on Monday in London.
