Busted Racquet previews Wednesday's action at the 2011 French Open. For all our French Open coverage, click here or follow us on Twitter.

• If you're on the East Coast, set your alarm clocks early. If you're on the West Coast, plan on being up late. Play begins at 5 a.m. ET on Wednesday with Caroline Wozniacki, Roger Federer, Sam Stosur and Bethanie Mattek-Sands kicking off the second round on various courts around Roland Garros. Mattek-Sands will play American emigre Varvara Lepchenko on Court 3, ensuring that at least one American woman will advance to the round of 32.

• Of the top seeds, the Wozniacki match is the one worth watching and not just because she's playing Alexandra Wozniak. (Yes, it's a Wozniacki-Wozniak matchup.) The Canadian is ranked No. 162 but has advanced to at least the third round in each of her last three appearances at Roland Garros.

• John Isner won't get much time to rest after his five-set battle with Rafael Nadal on Tuesday. The American will play the second match on Court 10, starting the doubles competition with partner Sam Querrey, who won Tuesday in the singles competition.

• If fans of French tennis keep their eyes on Court Suzanne Lenglen, they'll be in pure ciel (heaven, if my high-school French is correct). Four matches featuring hometown players will be featured on the second-biggest court at Roland Garros, including ones involving seeds Marion Bartoli and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

• Novak Djokovic looks to continue his season-opening 38-match winning streak against Romania's Victor Hanescu. The world No. 2 is 5-0 lifetime against Hanescu.

• The last matchup on Court 2 features Fabio Fognini and Stephane Robert. Hmm. A second-round French Open match scheduled for late in the day involving Fognini and a Frenchman? This didn't turn out well last time.

Don't miss: Wozniacki (1) vs. Wozniak; Julia Goerges (17) vs. Lucie Safarova

Upset possibilities: Pere Riba over Janko Tipsarevic (29); Julien Benneteau over David Ferrer (7)

TV: 5 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET, Tennis Channel; 12 p.m.-6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2
