Christian Pulisic scores again for Dortmund to make Bundesliga history (Video)

Another week, another Bundesliga goal for Christian Pulisic.

The 17-year-old American made his second straight start for Borussia Dortmund and again rewarded manager Thomas Tuchel for having such confidence in him by scoring in a 3-0 victory over Stuttgart on Saturday.

Pulisic remained on the bench for every minute of Dortmund's midweek German Cup semifinal win over Hertha Berlin that set up a May 21 final showdown against rival Bayern Munich. But he returned to his place in the starting lineup on the left side of midfield in a 4-1-4-1 formation against Stuttgart.

Bundesliga opponents will learn to be aware of Pulisic's whereabouts at all times because of his threat to score. He found himself in the right place at the right time in the 45th minute when Stuttgart goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton could only block Henrikh Mkhitaryan's long-distance shot. Pulisic easily pounced on the rebound to make it 2-0 Dortmund.

That's two goals in two games for Pulisic, who got his first league tally in last weekend's 3-0 win over Hamburg, and along with that feat comes a Bundesliga record – youngest player in league history to score twice.

Neymar won't be playing for Brazil in the Copa America Centenario, but American fans could have their own main attraction in Pulisic. If the Pennsylvania native keeps scoring, U.S. men's national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann will have no choice but to give the kid from Hershey a promiinent role in his 23-man roster.
