The last eight of club soccer's top competition were finalized on Wednesday with the return legs of the two remaining ties: Barcelona vs. Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund vs. Juventus.
Ivan Rakitic's deft dink in the 31st minute accounted for Barcelona's only goal in a 1-0 victory, but the Catalans would've won going away if it wasn't for the oustanding shot stopping of City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Carlos Tevez also struck early for Juventus in the Serie A leaders' 3-0 win at Borussia Dortmund, pounding a long-range rocket into the upper 90 in the third minute. He also scored in the 79th minute to confirm the German side's exit.
