Zlatan Ibrahimovic blames 'someone' (Pep Guardiola) for ruining his best chance at winning the Champions League

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's PSG will face former club Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday, giving him an opportunity to take yet another shot at Pep Guardiola. Ibrahimovic made it clear in his book, "I am Zlatan," that he did not get along with Guardiola during his one season at Barca. And now he's blaming "someone" for the team's 2009/10 Champions League failure. Of course, when Zlatan refers to "someone" it is always Pep Guardiola.

From the Guardian:

“We had the best team in the world but we failed to win the Champions League because of bad decisions from someone,” Ibrahimovic told Canal+.

“But it’s like that. It’s nothing to complain about today. You have to forget it because I had great moments at Barcelona.”

"It's nothing to complain about today, except for when I brought it up just now."

Though Guardiola won the Champions League twice with Barcelona in 2009 and 2011, Zlatan has famously never won it. He didn't explain what bad decisions he was referring to, but in both legs of Barcelona's doomed semifinal against Jose Mourinho's Inter that year, Zlatan was removed just after the hour mark. This, of course, is always a bad decision in Zlatan's mind.

Ibrahimovic will not be able to play against Barcelona due to injury.
