France and Nigeria were moving along pretty uneventfully through their Round of 16 stage match when Karim Benezema had the match’s best chance.

In the 70th minute, the French striker played a nifty give-and-go with Antoine Griezmann and despite his shot being saved by Nigerian keeper Vincent Enyeama, the ball kept trickling toward the net. Luckily for Nigeria, Victor Moses reacted quick:

The second half was controlled by France and they would keep pushing until finally solving Vincent Enyeama. Nine minutes after Moses' clearance, Paul Pogba would head home the first goal off a corner kick to give France the lead and put Nigeria's backs against the wall in this do-or-die match.
