Sporting Kansas City won their second MLS Cup on Saturday, beating Real Salt Lake in front of a frozen yet jubilant home crowd. The visitors scored first, but Kansas City defender Aurelien Collin equalized in the 76th minute and with the help of goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen, they won the longest shootout in MLS playoff history 7-6.
