Veracruz goalkeeper Edgar Hernandez had no one but himself to blame for conceding a penalty in the 89th minute of his side's Liga MX match against Cruz Azul. His sloppy tackle from behind earned him a yellow card, but he made up for his sin by saving Christian Gimenez's penalty with his feet.
Hernandez's joy was short lived, however, because as he got back to his feet, his teammates showed Gimenez how to put the ball in their own net with a pass and a shot from defender Adrian Cortes that left Hernandez speechless.
Veracruz still won 3-2, but Hernandez probably won't talk to his teammates for a week after that one.
