Our bus broke down at the stadium. Option A: Hitchhike with fans. Option B: Wait. What do you think we did? pic.twitter.com/ntqwBIVHFp

The U.S. women's team had a training session at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida ahead of their friendly against Brazil on Sunday. After the session, the team bus broke down. So instead of waiting for it to be fixed, the players hitched rides back to their hotel with fans, who were delighted to serve as chauffeurs for their heroes.
Sydney Leroux and Alex Morgan were in one car while Hope Solo, Abby Wambach and Carli Lloyd rode in another, providing a wonderfully surreal experience for the fans who were able to help out. Carley Painter, The supporter who drove the latter trio, declared it the best day of her life on Twitter and Wambach responded by offering her thanks and the hope that she will be able to return the favor at some point.
Judging by the tweets, it seems like the experience was far more fun than the usual bus ride for all involved.
We really do have THE BEST fans!I mean, having our backs when our bus breaks down? And getting us back to our hotel safely! Awesome!

This will be the final match of 2013 for the U.S. and it could seal an undefeated 2013. On top of that, the team also has a record 76-match home unbeaten streak to protect. Hopefully the bus is fixed so it can get them back to the stadium on time to do that.
