Stephen Warnock scores wind assisted rainbow free kick

Stephen Warnock made the most of the high winds at Huish Park as he scored the deciding free kick in Leeds' 2-1 win at Yeovil. Warnock launched an arching ball into the box in the 62nd minute, teammate Matt Smith went up to head it in front of goal, but the wind carried the ball over both him and outstretched goalkeeper Marek Stech.

The result was a perfectly curved shot from distance and Warnock, perhaps even a little surprised it went in himself, calmly celebrated with a finger in the air as if pointing to the natural element that provided the assist.

David Beckham has nothing on the combination of Stephen Warnock and wind.
