Under the reasonable assumption that one one would dare to attempt such a shot from so far out, the opposing keeper had moved forward, leaving his goal unattended and allowing the scorer's impressive overhead accuracy to be rewarded.
Even if this wasn't his third goal of the match, it still would've been worthy of a hat trick all on its own.
