Silvio Berlusconi says beating Juve with dubious penalty makes Milan win ‘even better’

Dirty Tackle

Milan gave the once invincible Juventus their second loss of the season to keep them within reach of the rest of Serie A. The 1-0 win for Milan was decided by a first-half penalty call that even manager Masimiliano Allegri later admitted was wrong (after having the benefit of watching the replays). Juve midfielder Mauricio Isla was called for a handball in the box, but upon closer inspection it appeared the ball hit him under his outstretched arm. Robinho then skipped in the penalty over Gigi Buffon's hands and that proved to be the different.

Given Juve's tremendous fortune with referee decisions this season and the shocking missed goal call that saved them from losing to Milan last season, they didn't find too much sympathy at the San Siro. Taking that sentiment a step further was Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi, who reveled in the circumstances. Because that's the kind of guy he is. From Goal.com:

"A dubious penalty? Beating Juventus like this makes the win even better for me," Berlusconi was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

He then stroked his white cat and laughed maniacally until he was eventually the only one left in the room (aside from the prostitutes, of course).
