Shunsuke Nakamura knocks bride and groom toppers off a moving wedding cake with a free kick

Dirty Tackle

Former Celtic midfielder and current J. League most valuable player Shunsuke Nakamura demonstrated his stunning accuracy with a football on a Japanese TV show. The set-up was, of course, a bit bizarre.

Nakamura, wearing a football kit, was in the middle of a presumably staged wedding reception. His task: to kick the ball around the balloon display and knock the bride and groom toppers off the moving wedding cake. So what does Nakamura do? EXACTLY THAT.

The 35-year-old seemed to even surprise himself with how perfectly he executed it, but after watching the slow-mo replay there are two facts we can pull from this. 1) No one will have a right to complain about the 2014 World Cup ball, which Nakamura uses here. And 2) I will be inviting Nakamura to my wedding (whenever that may be).
