Seydou Keita refuses to shake hand with Pepe, throws water bottle at him before friendly

The preseason friendly between Roma and Real Madrid in Dallas, Texas brought back the ghost of Clasicos past when former Barcelona player Seydou Keita refused to shake hands with Pepe and then threw a water bottle at his head before the match. This prompted a stand-off between the two teams, but after a bit of discussion between Keita and Xabi Alonso, the match went ahead.

Keita accused Pepe of calling him a monkey during the first leg of the Spanish Supercopa in 2011. According to the Fox broadcast for the Roma-Real Madrid match, the fourth official said that Pepe spat at Keita at some point during the handshake/water bottle incident, as well.

Despite the seriousness of these accusations, Pepe still managed a smile as the water bottle whizzed past him. But that's probably because at this point in his career of violence and misdeeds he must be used to these things.
