In 2012, Sevilla turned the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan benches into giant Oscar Mayer hot dogs for their match against Barcelona all for that sweet, sweet sponsorship money. For Barcelona's latest visit, a different sponsor shelled out the money to turn the benches into giant beer bottles.
Players and coaches at the match were protected from the rain by Cruzcampo beer bottles as Sevilla surrendered an early 1-0 lead and lost 4-1 with two goals from Lionel Messi. For the record, the hot dogs didn't bring much better luck for Sevilla. They lost that match 2-0.
So what else can potential sponsors turn Sevilla benches into? Maybe a local adult shop will test the club's boundaries.
