The robots have taken over the Bundesliga (well, the pitch mowing at least)

We've seen robots decapitate themselves in their attempts to play football, so now they are attempting to take control of the game in a different way. By mowing the pitch with minimal help from humans. That sound you just heard is all the Groundskeeper Willies of the world gasping in horror.

Prior t0 the Bundesliga match between Augsburg and Hannover 96, the pitch was mowed by automatic mowing machines created by Augsburg's shirt sponsor Al-Ko. Though it seems this was more of a marketing stunt for the Robolinho 3000 (product name in England: Gareth Barry) than a way for the fiscally responsible Bundesliga to save money on grounds crews, it's likely just a matter of time before German efficiency evolves the game into a competition between teams of automatic mowing machines that cut the grass and play football at the same time.

This is exactly what Sepp Blatter and FIFA were afraid of goal-line technology leading to.
