Twelve points behind Manchester United in the table and knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage for the second straight season, Man City boss Roberto Mancini has declared himself the best manager in England over the last 15 months.

From the BBC:

"In the last 15 months I am the best manager in England," said Mancini. [...]

"Someone says for six months that Manchester City would change manager, Guardiola would come in, and after Guardiola went to Bayern Munich, now another manager.

"I won one Premier League, one FA Cup, one charity shield, there is not another manager that's won like me in the last 15 months.

"I can do nothing but it is the reality."

By Mancini's logic, will Swansea manager Michael Laudrup or Phil Parkinson, manager of League Two side Bradford City become the best manager in England over the last six months when one of them wins the Capital One Cup because no one else will have a trophy in that span? Surely this measure of a manager's quality will only upset Arsene Wenger eve more.
