In his first match after nine months off with a foot injury, PSV's Erik Pieters was sent off in the 67th minute of his side's 3-1 loss to PEC Zwolle on Friday. Pieters was understandably frustrated by this, but unleashed his frustration with a kick to the side of the tunnel as he made his way to the dressing room and topped it off by stupidly punching through a window.
The punch left a large hole and blood stain on the glass as Pieters sliced open his arm. The new injury required surgery and the club will determine "in the coming weeks" how long it will take him to come back. Again.
Thanks to @Faineant4 for the tip!
