Never one to shy away from his spotlight, a very impatient Neymar made his Barcelona debut in the 78th minute of a friendly against Polish side Lechia Gdansk. He came on for Alexis Sanchez in what ended up being a 2-2 draw, but near the start of the second half, he was spotted gesturing to the Barca coaches, pleading for a substitution.
New Barcelona manager Tata Martino was not in Poland for the match (his debut will come against Neymar's former club Santos on Friday), so the 21-year-old Brazilian wasn't shy about expressing his desire to his underlings. As per usual, once Neymar did enter the match, he was quickly and consistently knocked around by the inferior opposition. Some might say he better get used to this kind of treatment in Europe, but since it's not unlike what he already dealt with in Brazil, he probably already is.
