The Didier Drogba Foundation held a charity ball at the Dorchester Hotel in London over the weekend, giving the Chelsea striker ample opportunity to dig out his most horrendous blue suit in the name of philanthropy.

The event — attended by Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, John Terry and several more of AVB's mortal enemies — managed to raise over $390,000 to build a clinic in the Ivory Coast's capital by auctioning off once-in-a-lifetime prizes, including a Hublot watch, a private Ibiza party with Calvin Harris and a gentle lovemaking session with Raul Meireles. Well, the last one might not be true, but one guest successfully bid £15,000 ($23,500) for a training session with The Drog, and used the opportunity to smack talk a certain misfiring Spaniard. Says The Daily Mail:

Didier Drogba managed to keep a straight face at his charity ball as the winner of a training session with the Ivorian striker offered to donate the prize to his misfiring colleague Fernando Torres.

Roberto Di Matteo today admitted that Nando has 'psychological problems' in front of goal, and getting put down by a wealthy fan in front of all his teammates probably wouldn't have helped. Thankfully, Torres didn't appear to be in attendance — he's usually busy washing his hair with his own tears on Saturday nights.
