When you win the Ballon d'Or three years in a row, you want as many people to know that as possible. So to help spread the word, adidas made up a special gold pair of adizero F50 boots just for Leo Messi. They feature a year he's won the award in each stripe, along with his new personal logo and the words "FIFA Ballon d'Or Player of the Year" and "gracias a todos" (thanks to all).

Though the boots won't be made available to the public, Messi will wear them during Barcelona's match against Betis. So this is pretty much as close as you'll ever get to them.

UPDATE: You can actually customize your own version of the gold/white colorway at So maybe you can get a little closer to them. If you don't mind getting a little farther away from that $270 in your pocket.
