Jose Mourinho celebrates Chelsea goal by hugging his ‘little assistant’ Jose Jr.

Dirty Tackle

Chelsea recovered from conceding a goal to Southampton in the first minute to win 3-1 and remain four points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table. After Demba Ba scored Chelsea's final goal in the 90th minute, manager Jose Mourinho immediately marched up the steps behind the bench and embraced his 13-year-old son Jose Jr. before returning to his place on the touchline.

In his post-match interview, Mourinho said his son "is more like a little assistant. The kid is fantastic. He is in love with football completely and I like to know that he is here." This likely made Michael Essien, who came off for Ba at halftime after collecting a yellow card in the first half, quite jealous.

When Chelsea beat Man City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in October, Mourinho hopped into the stands in an attempt to celebrate with his son, but instead he found himself in a hug with a random fan.

Speaking of people who could use a hug, our dear friend Artur Boruc had to come out of the match in the 58th minute because he broke his hand on the post while keeping out a Demba Ba shot that led to Gary Cahill scoring Chelsea's first goal. Boruc will miss about six weeks.
