HSV apologize to Franck Ribery after pitch invader hit him with a scarf
Bayern Munich beat HSV 3-1 in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday with Franck Ribery scoring his side's final goal. Near the end of the match, an HSV fan jumped out of the stands and ran across the pitch towards Ribery. He then hit the Frenchman with a scarf and gave him the finger with both hands before getting hauled away by security.
After the match, HSV were quick to apologize to both Bayern and Ribery via Twitter, saying "This is not HSV!"
Lieber @FCBayern, lieber Franck #Ribery. Wir entschuldigen uns für die Szene kurz vor dem Ende. Das ist nicht der #HSV! #HSVFCB
