There are many dangers in the world. The oceans have sharks, the woods have bears, and football grounds have sprinklers. Gary Neville met his nightmare while being interviewed at The Hawthorns before West Brom's 4-0 win over Burnley.
Not realizing that he was standing right next to a dormant sprinkler head, Neville was given a jolt when the beast awoke and started spraying its harmless venom. After doing a little dance, Neville saw the humor in his terror and giggled like the Pillsbury Doughboy.
He will never begin a pitchside interview before checking for sprinklers again.
