Fernando Torres scores with a dazzling header in his first start for Milan

Just 43 minutes into Fernando Torres' first start for Milan, he did what it took him three months and 14 matches to do for Chelsea: score a goal.

With pressure and expectations light years away from what he was saddled with upon making his £50 million move from Liverpool to Chelsea three years ago, Torres made his Milan debut in the final 15 minutes of their 1-0 loss to Juventus last weekend. Just three days later, he made his first start against Empoli, who jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. But Torres ensured that Milan went into the dressing room on a high note with a rather incredible header for someone who only scored 20 goals in 110 league matches with his previous club.

Torres was eventually subbed off in the 81st minute, but not until after he did this...

Could this be the rebirth of Fernando Torres? We can only hope. After demonstrating the perseverance he did at Chelsea, he deserves it.
