Undisputed king of the Europa League Radamel Falcao again proved his dominance in the competition by leading Atletico Madrid to a 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in this year's final. That makes Falcao the only player to win the competition in consecutive years with two different clubs (Porto last season).
The tournament's leading scorer in both season's he's participated, Falcao's two goals in the final -- including the sublime 7th-minute opener shown above -- gave him 29 in 29 total appearances. Next season, he'll enter the Europa League as a one-man team and do it all over again. Or, he'll sign for another club for an amount of money that barely exists and actually play in the Champions League where he belongs.
Before the match even ended, Athletic's 19-year-old striker Iker Muniain was inconsolable over the defeat, but he will surely have many happier days to come in his career.
