Everton Football Club is a fun place to be right now. There have been plenty of entertaining games, Roberto Martinez is threatening to deliver on his promise of Champions League football sooner than expected, and spirits are high enough for the players and staff to film a classy Christmas video.
They may not see the sun too often at this time of year on Merseyside, but the Toffees have produced a clip in which they mime along to 'Bring Me Sunshine', made famous by British comedy duo Morecombe and Wise. It kicks off with Martinez breaking away from an interview to croon like a '60s Vegas lounge act, before a fully-bearded Tim Howard and Sylvain Distin get in on the fun.
Elsewhere we see Romelu Lukaku with his arm around tiny club masseur Jimmy Comer, Steven Naismith and James McCarthy not bothering to dress up, Leon Osman and Phil Jagielka wearing cracker hats and a selection of random office staff getting in on the action. The highlight, however, might be kit man Jimmy Martin dancing with a pair of underpants in his hands.
While David Moyes' former club are having festive fun, the Scotsman has cancelled Manchester Utd's traditional Christmas celebrations so that the players can concentrate on being better at football instead. What he would give to be waving Ross Barkley's underpants around at Goodison Park right now...
