DTotD: Standard Liege player sent off for donkey kick to opponent’s face

Standard Liege midfielder William Vainqueur added injury to insult in his side's 5-0 win over Lierse on Sunday when his misguided attempt to kick a ball that was behind him resulted in his boot connecting with Rachid Bourabia's face. The incident occurred in the 86th minute, after Standard Liege scored all five of their goals, and resulted in a red card for Vainqueur.

The donkey kick forced Bourabia to come off with a bloodied face and a newfound appreciation for players who can properly execute a backheel.
